About the Artist

Growing up in Cambodia, I always saw the world differently than the people around me. I was often late for school because I was too busy conversing with the trees and plants on the way there. I loved letting rainstorms pour over me. I felt a strange connection with the sacred mountain near our family farm.

When I taught myself to paint, it finally gave me a medium to introduce people to the world I had always lived inside. Many people, after seeing my work, ask me if I paint on psychedelics, but the universe as I see it is already naturally surreal.
